This role focuses on ensuring seamless data exchange between our internal financial systems and external accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.LocationZact is a global company with multiple locations across US, Europe and India.We provide 100% Remote Working Option.Candidates applying for this role should be located in India.Key ResponsibilitiesData Integration SupportFacilitate data exchange between internal financial systems and accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite)Map data fields and structures between disparate systems to ensure accurate data transferTroubleshoot data synchronization issues and identify root causes of integration failuresValidate data integrity during import/export processes and reconcile discrepanciesDeveloper SupportCollaborate with development team on API integrations with accounting systemsProvide technical guidance on accounting system data structures, requirements, and constraintsReview integration specifications and test data flows to ensure compliance with accounting system standardsDocument data mapping requirements and integration workflows for development implementationCustomer SupportAssist customers with data migration to and from accounting systemsExplain data requirements, formatting standards, and best practices for accounting system integrationsTroubleshoot customer-reported data issues related to accounting system connectionsCreate documentation and training materials for customers on data exchange processesData Analysis & Quality AssuranceWrite SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze financial data for integration purposesPerform data validation and quality checks on financial datasets before transferGenerate reports comparing internal financial data with accounting system dataIdentify and resolve data inconsistencies between systemsRequired QualificationsOverall 10+ years of experience in IT industry.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.3-5 years of relevant experience working with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite or similar accounting platformStrong understanding of accounting system data structures, workflows, and limitationsAdvanced SQL scripting skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysisExperience supporting technical teams or customers with data integration issuesSolid understanding of accounting principles (GL structure, AR/AP, revenue recognition)Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specificationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with accounting system APIs (NetSuite QuickBooks API)Knowledge of additional accounting platforms (Sage, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics)Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation toolsBackground in customer-facing technical support rolesTechnical SkillsDeep understanding of QuickBooks Online and NetSuite data models and objectsExpert SQL skills across various database platformsProficiency with data mapping and transformation conceptsExperience with API testing tools (Postman, similar)Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is a plusSoft SkillsExcellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCustomer service orientation with patience and clarityDetail-oriented with commitment to data accuracyAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative team player who can work effectively with developers and customers
