About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Linux/OpenShift Administrator to manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and OpenShift clusters that host Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and TRIRIGA Application Suite (TAS). This role is essential for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our containerized enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities:Deploy, manage, and maintain MAS and TAS clusters on Red Hat OpenShift within AWS environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance..Perform daily Linux administration (RHEL) tasks: patching, user management, storage, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within OpenShift clusters.Manage and support OpenShift environments following industry best practices.Collaborate with Database Administrators (DBAs) for managing backups, restoration processes, and database infrastructure operations.Follow OpenShift best practices for infrastructure security, scaling, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.Required Skills & Qualifications:4-6 years of experience in Linux system administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).Hands-on experience managing RHEL systems in OpenShift container environments.Experience managing MAS and/or TAS deployments on AWS and OpenShift is highly desirable.Solid understanding of backup, restore, and DR processes for cloud-based and on-premises workloads.Strong troubleshooting abilities in Linux and containerized platforms.Preferred (Good to Have):Red Hat Certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or OpenShift Administrator).Familiarity with AWS services used for MAS/TAS hosting.Exposure to Agile/DevOps workflows.
