Why Join DTEXThis role is ideal for someone who wants to build, scale, and lead—bringing strong judgment, commercial instincts, and modern AI fluency to a fast‑growing cybersecurity company.Impact at Scale – Drive the growth of a market-leading cybersecurity company.Thriving Company Culture – DTEX fosters a values-driven environment prioritizing respect, inclusion, and collaboration.Growth & Development – Opportunities for professional advancement and lifelong learning.Flexibility – Hybrid or remote work options.Comprehensive Benefits – Competitive compensation, equity participation, health and wellness benefits, and generous time-off policies.RoleAs the Director of Channel Public Sector, you will report into our Global Channel and Alliances organization.  Support a team of 3+ sellers in region who will go to market alongside traditional Channel Partners (VAR’s) and CSP’s Marketplace/s to get the of the DTEX solutions into the hands of customers who need it.  You must strengthen existing partner relationships with DTEX’s strategic partners across the region and cultivate new ones.What You Will Do:Understand, develop, and grow channel sales for Federal and SLED Agencies whereby monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are achieved and exceeded. Understand and convey key Business issues facing distributors, resellers, and customers. Develop sales plan to provide market overview and sales/marketing strategy for achieving sales target (Quota). Recruit and manage the channel partners including Distributors/Re-Sellers/Federal Systems Integrators. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle to secure new customers.Develop and plan sales/marketing activities and campaigns within the Public Sector business.Understand, where appropriate, opportunities for localization of our products and services. Maintain sufficient activity levels to achieve sales target (Quota) and build appropriate pipelines to achieve quarterly sales targets for the following two quarters.May require periodic travel within the domestic US.We are looking for:7+ years of solution and service-based sales experience within a networking hardware and/or related high technology business environment. 5+ Years experience supporting Public Sector Sales Teams and Reseller Partners.Broad understanding of go to market motions in Federal and State Agency environments.Extensive experience establishing and managing Public Sector Contract Vehicles like GSA, SEWP, ITES, OMNIA and NASPO.Understanding of Federal and State Acquisition Regulations.Relationships with partners like WWT, GuidePoint, Thundercat, Carahsoft & AWS required.Highly motivated with extensive experience in successfully selling large ticket solutions. Excellent knowledge of multiple platforms in correlation with networking/security, competitors and market landscape is required.Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related discipline preferred.Ability to present/demonstrate DTEX’s product and solution sets; articulate DTEX’s vision to VAR and Distribution Sales and Leadership.Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.We take good care of our people.
