The successful candidate will possess an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills and excel in communication. This role encompasses a range of financial close and reporting activities, along with close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business transactions and ensure accurate and complete accounting and reporting. Additionally, the position involves supporting projects and optimizing processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, strong leader and enthusiastic about driving efficiencies within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Your ImpactLead and coordinate the Worldwide Revenue Close, including but not limited to review of monthly journal entries and reconciliations, validation of system data, tracking close status and reporting close metricsMentor, develop and lead a team of analysts through Managers, fostering a collaborative solutions oriented culturePartner with Corporate FP&A team to provide insights into revenue trends and drivers, specifically around key metrics like ARR and RPOLeverage comprehensive quote to cash system and process knowledge to timely identify, quantify and resolve issuesIdentify opportunities to implement standard methodologies, automation and continuous process improvements within the Revenue Close cycleWork closely with the SOX team to document processes, and establish and maintain strong SOX controlsTranslate technical revenue policies into scalable, executable processes and work cross functionally to communicate financial impact.Lead and assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as neededQualificationsYour ExperienceBachelor's in Finance, Accounting or related fields. CPA is preferred10+ years of hands on high-tech revenue recognition experienceExcellent technical and operational knowledge of ASC 6063 years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferredMinimum of 4 years management/supervisory experience, managing and developing teamsStrong ability to maintain relationships, think critically and solve problemsAbility to diplomatically challenge the status quoStandout colleague and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross functional organizationsHigh proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google SuiteExperience with financial systems, SAP ERP S4 Hana and RAR, Blackline, Tableau and SFDC a plusExperience with high technology clients in the Hardware, Software and/or SaaS space a plusAdditional InformationCompensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) is expected to be between $138,000 - $223,500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
