Social Media Manager (Equity-Based) – Remote
About the Opportunity
VFXB (https://www.vfxb.com/) is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to join our fully remote team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, audience engagement, and digital marketing while contributing to an innovative, real-world digital product. This is not a salary-based role; we are offering equity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies to grow VFXB's online presence.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
Develop content ideas, captions, hashtags, and campaigns aligned with the brand and marketing goals.
Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and help build an active online community.
Track social media performance and analyze engagement, reach, audience growth, and other key metrics.
Collaborate with the marketing, design, product, and development teams to create effective campaigns.
Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media platforms.
Test and improve content strategies based on performance and audience insights.
Stay updated on emerging social media platforms, tools, trends, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Interest or experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content marketing.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
Ability to create engaging content, captions, and social media campaigns.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
Ability to research trends and identify content opportunities.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment.
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms is a plus.
Experience working with startups, technology, SaaS, or digital products is a plus.
