Hi, I’m Alexander Torrenegra, CEO of Torre.ai and tech shark in Shark Tank Colombia and Mexico. I live in the Bay Area. While Torre's goal is to become THE global job network (with the help of AI), we had to start somewhere: nearshoring. Our database of tech talent in LatAm is over 250K strong. We've helped thousands of companies find top remote talent in the Americas. Many of them are development agencies and IT staffing firms. We have a significant opportunity to own a staffing agency. While we could create a subsidiary and own 100% of it, we firmly believe partnering up with a strong entrepreneur and owning 50.1% of something larger is better. We're seeking a co-founding CEO to build such a company. We bring the recruitment automation and candidates, and you get the clients. One of our many partners can handle payroll. The compensation will be based on the profitability of the new company (profit distribution). No base comp. MODUS OPERANDI: We'll operate similarly to any IT staffing agency, but highly automated and fast: • You (and, eventually, the team you grow) bring clients • Torre's tech taps our existing database of candidates • If more candidates are needed, Emma, our AI recruiter, sources them from 100+ channels (job boards, LinkedIn, online communities, etc.) • Torre pre-screens the candidates and ranks them • You review the candidates and present them to the client • Candidates are then hired by one of our payroll partners, if needed Note that we are only interested in time-based staffing, where the deployed staffer is managed by our client. We are not interested in selling software development projects. Our strength is recruitment automation, not software delivery. And the former is more scalable. Your KPIs will be simple: margins. Net profits will be plowed back or paid as dividends per mutual agreement.
