Elevate Pay is building global USD accounts for freelancers and remote workers in emerging markets. We help tech talent in places like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, and the Philippines receive their earnings faster, keep more of what they earn, and manage their money like global professionals.
As we expand into new countries, we’re looking for scrappy, high-agency Launchers to lead the charge. You’ll be responsible for bringing Elevate Pay to life in Sri Lanka— driving user acquisition, building local partnerships, and seeding trust and traction from the ground up.
🚀 What you'll do:
* Own the go-to-market strategy for launching Elevate Pay in Sri Lanka.
* Lead local user acquisition — from online campaigns to on-the-ground activations.
* Identify and close partnerships with local communities, influencers, co-working spaces, and ecosystem stakeholders.
* Create and manage referral loops, growth hacks, and first deposit incentives.
* Understand what makes freelancers and remote workers in the market tick — and shape campaigns accordingly.
* Talk to users, foster relationships with community leaders, and partners.
* Track key growth metrics (signups, activations, deposits) and iterate fast.
* Share learnings back with the team and shape the future playbook.
✅ Must-have qualities:
* Proven experience launching or growing user bases in a new market (growth, BD, ops, or GTM roles).
* Deep understanding of the local freelance and remote worker landscape — platforms, pain points, behavior.
* Strong executional ability — can own country-level launch roadmap and deliver fast results.
* Hustler mindset — will go out, meet users, pitch Elevate Pay, onboard partners, and get traction from day one.
* Experience running or contributing to high-impact acquisition campaigns (online + offline).
* Comfortable setting and hitting aggressive growth goals: signups, verified accounts, active users, deposits.
* Excellent communication and persuasion skills — can confidently pitch to founders, community leaders, Upwork/Fiverr top earners, etc.
* Strong local insight — understands what growth channels, narratives, and incentives work in-market.
* Organized and highly autonomous — can manage multiple workstreams with minimal oversight.
* Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with scrappy teams.
⚙️ Bonus qualifications:
* Prior experience in fintech, creator platforms, gig economy, or cross-border payments.
* Network in local startup, freelancer, or remote work communities.
* Familiarity with user funnels — sign-up, activation, referral, retention, etc.
* Experience planning and executing activations, community events, or offline campaigns.
* Fluent in local language(s) — highly preferred, but not mandatory.
