Heartbeat Health is redefining how cardiovascular care is delivered in the digital age, led by our medical group of cardiologists, advanced practitioners, nurses, and care coordinators.About the Role: Heartbeat Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our virtual clinic Monday through Friday from 9:00-5:30 pm MST.Patient care: Receive Warm hand off of patients from internal and external call transfersVerify contact infoSchedule first MD visitEstablish plan for vitalsConduct initial KCCQ surveyObtain baseline vitals if able - to include weightMedication reconciliationVerify Medical history/diagnosticsArrange for lab draw Arrange for Diagnostics Prepare patients for physician visits.Connect with patients, ensure video and audio work, add interpreters as needed.Obtain signed consent.Obtain photos of insurance cardsClinical duties:Utilize translator services to communicate with non-English speaking patientsChart prepInitiate visitDocument symptom's Record patient’s height, weight and vitals based on outside records or patient's self reported information. Identify and document the patient's preferred pharmacy in their chart under Profile.
