This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-evolving environment while driving quality improvements across development and delivery processses.ResponsibilitiesPractice & Quality EngineImplement and maintating standards, and quality engineering principles.Support mission-critical applications by ensuring reliability, scalability, and release readiness.Promote continuous testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and team efficiency.Test Automation & Framework DevelopmentDesign, develop, and mainta, backend, and mobile applications.Create automated coverage for new wallet-integration capabilities where technically feasible, including:API contract and integration tests.Eligibility validation and error-handling scenarios.Backend tokenization workflows.Mobile UI flows that do not rely on external wallet application screens.Write maintainable automation code using object-oriented programming principles and established coding standards.Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites.Manual & Functional TestingPerform manual testing for scenarios requiring device-level or third-party validation, including:Apple Pay and Google Wallet native handoff flows.Device- and operating system-specific behavior.Biometrics, OTP, and provisioning failure scenarios.Existing application regression testing outside the new wallet functionality.Mastercard and wallet-provider certification scenarios.Execute exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.Validate application behavior across supported platforms and environments.Test Planning & ExecutionCreate and maintat plans, test cases, and test documentation.Analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.Identify risks, define test coverage, and communicate quality impacts.Validate software releases through structured regression testing.Ensure adequate test coverage and collaborate with developers to improve overall software quality.Reporting & CollaborationDocument test results, defects, and issues clearly and efficiently.Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issu es.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Support release activities by providing accurate quality assessments.Requirements and Technical5+ years of professional QA/testing experience.Strong experience with both automated and manual software testing.Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.Strong understanding of software internals, scripting, and programming concepts.Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and automation code development.Proficiency with multiple testing methodologies, including:Exploratory testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Functional testing, API testing.Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and backend services.Experience with database testing, including SQL and/or NoSQL technologies.Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.Knowledge of mobile functional testing, including device compatibility and OS-specific behaviors.Experience testing third-party integrations and complex workflows.Familiarity with payment-related integrations, wallet technologies, or certification processes is highly desirable.Experience with continuous testing practices in Agile environments.Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Xray, or Zephyr.Experience working within Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall delivery frameworks.Ability to identify risks, analyze defects, and communicate findings effectively.Strong understanding of automation tools, frameworks, and industry QA best practices.
