Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / LIMS Analyst Developer with expertise in LabWare LIMS v8, Laboratory Informatics, HL7 Integrations, SQL, and Business Analysis to support a major Public Health Laboratory modernization initiative.This is an excellent long-term opportunity for professionals with Public Health, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Healthcare, or Laboratory Informatics experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and enhance LabWare LIMS v8 applications.Develop and support HL7/API integrations.Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.Translate business requirements into technical specifications.Create user stories, workflows, process documentation, and test scripts.Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation.Work closely with laboratory scientists, stakeholders, and technical teams.Troubleshoot LIMS functionality and recommend system improvements.Develop workflow diagrams and business process documentation.Train end users and provide production support.Support reporting, laboratory informatics, and enterprise data initiatives.Required SkillsBusiness Analysis & Requirements GatheringLabWare LIMS v8 (Preferred)SQL & Relational DatabasesHL7 Integration & APIsUser Stories, UAT & Test ScriptsWorkflow Documentation & Process ImprovementExcellent Communication & Stakeholder ManagementSDLC & Agile MethodologiesPreferred SkillsLaboratory InformaticsPublic Health Laboratory experienceCrystal ReportsXML, CCDA, LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10Laboratory Science or Epidemiology backgroundHealthcare Data StandardsWorkflow OptimizationSystem Configuration & Troubleshooting🎓 Preferred BackgroundLaboratory ScienceComputer ScienceInformaticsEpidemiologyHealthcare ITDuration: Through July 31, 2031 (Long-Term Contract.
