The Manager, Clinical Quality & Patient Safety plays a critical leadership role ety, and performance improvement across TeamHealth's Emergency Medicine service line. will collaborate with physician leaders, operational partners, analytics teams, and executive stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that enhance clinical outcomes, strengthen patient safety programs, and support evidence-based care delivery.What You'll DoLead clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives across multiple practice locations.Partner with physician, operational, and executive leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and drive sustainable change.Leverage data, analytics, and performance trends to improve care delivery and patient outcomes.Support a culture of safety through proactive risk identification, event reviews, and continuous quality improvement efforts.Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on quality programs, patient safety, and performance excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement clinical quality and patient safety strategies aligned with organizational goals.Identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of clinical, operational, and quality performance data.Design, manage, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives using established improvement methodologies.Collaborate with analytics and informatics teams to develop quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.Analyze performance trends and clinical variation to provide actionable recommendations to leadership.Prepare and present executive-level reports highlighting quality performance, outcomes, and improvement opportunities.Conduct and support clinical chart reviews, peer review activities, root cause analyses, and patient safety investigations.Identify system vulnerabilities and implement process improvements that reduce patient harm and operational risk.Partner with Risk Management, Legal, Revenue Cycle, CMS, vendor, and operational teams to support quality reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Assist with external audits, third-party inquiries, and regulatory reporting initiatives.Educate clinicians on quality measures, documentation best practices, coding, and performance improvement efforts.Build strong partnerships across clinical, operational, and administrative teams to advance patient safety and quality objectives.RequirementsWhat Makes You SuccessfulPassion for improving patient outcomes and advancing clinical excellence.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into action.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to lead complex initiatives and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative, relationship-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.Sound judgment, professional discretion, and a commitment to handling confidential information appropriately.Results-oriented mindset focused on delivering measurable and sustainable improvements.You BringActive Registered Nurse (RN) license required.BSN required; MSN preferred.5+ years of progressive experience ient safety, performance improvement, or clinical quality management.Experience leading quality improvement initiatives within large healthcare organizations or across multiple hospitals.Demonstrated experience conducting clinical chart reviews and peer review activities.Knowledge of patient safety principles, event investigations, and root cause analysis methodologies.Experience developing clinical quality measures, dashboards, and performance reporting tools.Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization platforms.Experience partnering with multidisciplinary physician leadership teams.Strong understanding of emergency medicine clinical workflows preferred.Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) strongly preferred.Join Us!If you're a quality-focused nursing professional who is passionate about patient safety, clinical excellence, and driving meaningful improvements invite you to bring your expertise to TeamHealth.
