Octus is a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics.We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst for the analytics team at Sky Road, Octus’ state-of-the-art enterprise software platform for credit management professionals.The Quantitative Analyst will work together with the analytics team, data team, and business analysts to facilitate client onboarding, improve existing onboarding processes, and debug, test, and build features for portfolio analytics and compliance. This is a cross-functional role that requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.ResponsibilitiesAssist with client onboarding and support. Work with the analytics team, data team, and business analysts to understand client data, configure portfolio compliance and analytics, and debug calculation issuesImplement, test, and maintain new functionality for portfolio compliance and onboardingHelp to improve and maintain documentation for internal team membersRequirementsBachelor’s in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or similar field with a strong quantitative emphasisExperience with an object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or C#Desire to understand and communicate problems from both a financial and technical point-of-viewExperience with core financial data domains including issuers, instruments, industries, ratings, and pricingFamiliarity with CLOs and asset-based lendingExperience with analytic Python libraries, such as Pandas and NumpyFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and applicationsExperience with AI tools, such as Claude Code or Google GeminiAt Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions.The salary range estimate for this position is $135,000-$150,000.
