Responsibilities and deliverables
We are Roman Roofing LLC, a family-owned, IL-licensed and fully insured roofing contractor serving DuPage and Cook County, Illinois (Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Villa Park, and surrounding areas). We specialize in roof installation, replacement, repair, metal roofing, gutters, and siding. We hold a 5-star reputation and are now ready to grow through professional email marketing.
We need an expert MailChimp VA to build a complete, turnkey email marketing and outreach system. When the project is done, all we should need to do is upload our contacts list and start sending. Everything else must be set up, branded, and ready.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- MailChimp Account Setup & Branding: Full account configuration (domain authentication/SPF/DKIM/DMARC, sender info, compliance), custom branded email templates (colors, logo, mobile-responsive), professional header/footer design.
- Audience & List Management: Audience structure and segmentation strategy; segments for past customers, new leads, storm/insurance damage prospects, seasonal maintenance contacts, and referral partners (insurance agents, realtors, property managers); tag and group setup; signup forms and landing pages.
- Email Campaign Templates (ready-to-send): Welcome email for new leads, post-job follow-up and review request, storm/hail damage outreach (seasonal), spring and fall maintenance reminders, customer referral program email, monthly newsletter template, re-engagement campaign for cold contacts, insurance claim assistance outreach.
- Automated Email Workflows: New lead welcome automation, post-estimate 3-touch drip follow-up sequence, post-job thank you + review request automation, annual maintenance reminder, win-back automation for inactive contacts.
- Lead Capture & Integrations: Embedded website signup forms, pop-up signup form, landing page for free roof inspection offer, Facebook Lead Ads integration guidance.
- Analytics & Reporting: Campaign tracking dashboard setup, A/B testing structure for subject lines, UTM tracking links.
Requirements:
- Experience with home services, contractors, or local service businesses preferred.
- Strong email copywriting skills.
- Clean, professional design sense.
- Email deliverability best practices knowledge (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Ability to work independently and deliver a complete turnkey system.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
