Requirements and responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Build and maintain backend services for an AI/LLM product. - Design scalable distributed systems and APIs. - Integrate LLMs, RAG workflows, embeddings, and vector search. - Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. - Collaborate with frontend engineers working in React. - Improve reliability, latency, testing, and deployment quality. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field required - 5+ years of software engineering experience backend development. - Strong backend experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, Go. - Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, or Node.js. - Experience with distributed systems, APIs, databases, queues, and cloud services. - Hands-on experience with LLM integration, RAG, embeddings, or AI APIs. - Experience with AWS or GCP. - Must be located in UK or EU. Nice to Have: - React experience. - Experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus. - Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, LangChain, or LlamaIndex. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or observability tools.
