micro1 is hiring 50 remote Policy Consultants to support research, drafting, and analysis for government, NGO, and enterprise clients. You will turn complex regulations, legislation, and stakeholder input into clear briefs, memos, and markup-ready documents. This is high-volume, detail-driven work for consultants who ship precise, well-sourced policy products under deadline.What you will doConduct policy analysis on proposed and enacted regulations, legislation, and guidance across jurisdictionsDraft and edit memos, briefs, comment letters, and slide decks with executive summaries and recommendationsCompare policy language, track revisions, and produce redline PDFs with citations and section referencesBuild structured research notes, evidence tables, and source matrices for decision supportCoordinate with subject-matter experts to validate interpretations and incorporate feedback quicklyRequirementsAdvanced word processing skills for long documents: styles, cross-references, TOCs, footnotes, and version controlAdvanced PDF tools for annotation, redlining, Bates numbering, OCR, and redactionStrong policy analysis ability: issue framing, stakeholder mapping, risk assessment, and trade-off analysisClean writing with precise, neutral tone and proper sourcing/citationComfort with research databases, legislative trackers, and cloud collaboration toolsBonus+7 skills like regulatory research, data extraction, FOIA records review, comparative law, and slide/storytelling for leadershipComp & details$20-$58/hour based on experience and depth of expertise. 50 openings.
