Requirements and responsibilities

Turn founder chaos into a system-driven ecommerce business ready for exit.Hi! I'm the founder of Restural - and I'll be honest with you: I'm great at pushing new ideas and scaling marketing, but when it comes to backend and operational tasks, I'm all over the place. That's exactly why I'm building this role.Restural is a health and wellness ecommerce brand selling consumables and supplements through direct response marketing. We're about a year old, founder-led, and we've built serious momentum fast. But we're at the point where the "founder-led hustle" needs to become a professional, system-driven business that runs like clockwork whether I'm there or not.Right now our Google Drive is a mess, accountability is inconsistent, and honestly, we need everything when it comes to operational structure. I'm looking for someone who can walk in, see what needs doing, and start doing it without much hand-holding.This is a high-autonomy, results-oriented role where you'll work directly with me to shape the operational future of the business. Our long-term goal is a clean exit, and we need someone who can build the systems that will get us there. We're looking for an Operations Manager. You're the classic Type A: a little obsessive about details, folder structures, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. You're the total opposite of a chaotic founder — and that's exactly what we need.In this role, you will:Run daily check-ins with the team to ensure everyone hits their quotas and deadlinesOwn team accountability across creative editors, customer support, and all operational functionsOrganise our very messy Google Drive and maintain strict naming conventions for all new filesMonitor stock levels, place manufacturer orders, and coordinate supply chain logisticsBuild a library of SOPs from scratch so every workflow is documented and repeatableTrack team KPIs and make sure our creative team understands how they're performing against metrics like CPA and CTRHandle backend complexity so the founder can focus on big-picture strategySolve problems before they reach the founder and clear operational bottlenecks in real timeThis is a part-time role - no more than four hours per day, Monday through Friday. We'd like those hours to be relatively consistent so you can run daily team check-ins, but the four-hour window itself is flexible as long as core responsibilities are met and the team is hitting output.RequirementsTo excel in this role, you need:Solid background in ecommerce operationsExperience managing a remote team and holding them to specific quotasHighly proficient in Google WorkspaceExperience building SOPs from scratch and documenting repeatable processesData-literate with understanding of basic ad metrics like CPA and CTRExperience with inventory management and supply chain coordinationFluent English, written and spokenBrownie points for:Experience working with brands through an exit or acquisition processFamiliarity with ClickUp or Slack for team communicationExperience negotiating with manufacturers to improve margins or payment termsBackground in customer experience oversightExperience handling 3PL logistics for a scaling brandYou're naturally organised, assertive enough to hold a team accountable, and comfortable handling the friction of missed deadlines without escalating to the founder every time. You have a disciplined temperament, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong sense of ownership. You treat this role as a priority, not a side project. You bring order to chaos, and you take the lead on operational decisions that keep the business steady.BenefitsWhat’s in it for you?$2,500-$3,500 per month*Part-time, four hours per day Monday to Friday, with flexibility on how those hours are structuredFully remoteHigh degree of autonomy and trust, results-oriented roleWork directly with the founder to shape the operational future of a growing brandAccommodating schedule adjustments as long as core responsibilities and team check-ins are metSince this is a part-time contractor position, traditional employment benefits like paid holiday or sick pay are not offered.*Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor. This is our typical hiring process - occasionally, it may include extra steps. For this role, JobRack is partnering with the company to find their next hire.
