Ometria is seeking an Events and Community Manager to define and deliver the company's Demand Generation Events strategy. The role involves planning and executing Ometria's flagship annual event, Lifecycle, as well as building and managing a thriving community of decision makers in the retail marketing space. The Events and Community Manager will drive opportunities and closed business through events, manage venues and suppliers, coordinate speakers and sponsors, handle operations and logistics, budgeting, and develop a community-driven strategy. The successful candidate will be hyper-organized, a strategic thinker, and a confident communicator. Responsibilities: - Drive opportunities and closed business through events - Plan and execute Ometria's flagship annual event, Lifecycle - Build and manage a thriving community of decision makers in the retail marketing space - Source, coordinate, negotiate, and liaise with venues and third-party suppliers - Tap into and expand the network of expert speakers and sponsors - Coordinate staffing and on-the-day logistics for events - Produce detailed event budgets and deliver events within budget - Build a community-driven strategy by building audiences and driving sign-ups - Ensure all events contribute to overall sales and marketing objectives - Work with relevant teams to develop project plans and meet milestones
