Responsibilities

The MTS UPF Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and delivering payment platform solutions on the ACI UPF ecosystem. This role is purely development‑focused, concentrating on new features, configurations, integrations, and platform enhancements. The developer works closely with architecture, QA, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant payment solutions.Key responsibilities include: Platform Development (design and develop components on ACI UPF and MTS; build and customize payment flows; develop IPF and Real‑Time Payment solutions; ensure performance, scalability, and security), Payments & Message Engineering (implement ISO 20022, SWIFT MT, ISO 8583; support high‑value/low‑value payments; wire transfers; real‑time payments), Integration Development (design and implement integrations using IBM MQ and service‑based interfaces; develop SOA endpoints; build interfaces with external banking systems; support testing), Configuration & Deployment Engineering (configure channels, endpoints, licenses, rules, and traces; prepare deployment artifacts; support environment setup; create documentation), and Development Quality & SDLC (follow SDLC/Agile/DevOps; write clean, maintainable code; perform unit testing and support UAT; participate in design reviews).
