Core Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable):
Advanced data analysis skills: This is the foundation of everything. Without this, nothing else matters. You need extraordinary skill in spreadsheets; this is what makes you thrive in this role.
* Excel/Google Sheets mastery: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, complex formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, macros/scripts.
* Data aggregation across multiple sources: Combine data from 5+ tools and make sense of it quickly.
* Pattern recognition in large datasets: Spot anomalies, trends, and outliers without being told where to look.
* Building dashboards and reports from scratch: Create frameworks, not just fill templates.
* Statistical analysis fundamentals: Understand averages, variance, correlations, and their impact on business decisions.
Without extraordinary spreadsheet skills, this role is like a gun without ammunition. If you're not confident here, don't apply.
Required Amazon Experience:
* 3–4 years of direct Amazon experience (Seller Central, Vendor Central, or agency side).
* Proven ability to monitor and interpret Amazon KPIs, including Business P&L monitoring, achieving revenue and profitability targets, and listing health checks (BSR, organic rank, conversion metrics, PPC performance).
* Experience working with Amazon analytics tools (Brand Analytics, Business Reports, advertising platforms).
* Understanding of Amazon-specific metrics, including BSR movement, organic rank drivers, PPC impact on visibility, and how the CTR and CVR funnel works.
Critical Attributes:
* Ownership mentality: You identify problems, flag issues, fix inefficiencies, and take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.
* Pattern recognition: You quickly investigate changes such as BSR drops, conversion declines, or ranking losses to find root causes.
* Proactive communication: You flag issues early with context, not just symptoms.
* Organizational discipline: You track multiple products, departments, and timelines simultaneously, with strong follow-through and respect for deadlines.
* Independence: You can work without constant guidance, read documentation, and ask thoughtful questions when necessary.
* Speed and accuracy: You move quickly while maintaining data accuracy and attention to detail.
* Insight and rigor: You understand what the numbers mean and what actions to take, not just how to report them.
Daily Operations:
* Monitor business topline across the catalog, including Business P&L, CRO, audit and analysis, and daily listing metrics (BSR, pricing, shipping times, organic rankings, inventory levels, competition monitoring).
* Act as the early warning system by identifying and flagging issues before they escalate, always providing context.
Weekly Consolidation:
* Collect inputs from all departments (PPC, Creative, Inventory Operations, Product Development).
* Follow up on late submissions and consolidate inputs into structured weekly oversight reports (2–3 pages per product).
* Present consolidated analysis to the Lead Brand Manager for strategic review.
Monthly Analysis:
* Support deep-dive reviews for top revenue products.
* Pull trend data, compile competitive intelligence, and organize analysis frameworks.
* Handle data compilation to enable the Lead Brand Manager to focus on strategic synthesis.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
* Identify issues that span departments, flag them, and coordinate resolution.
* Act as the connector between data insights and action.
Your Output:
* Daily: Flags and alerts when metrics move significantly.
* Weekly: Consolidated performance reports explaining what happened, why it happened, and what’s next.
* Monthly: Trend analysis and competitive landscape data.
You produce clarity from complexity and turn raw data into actionable intelligence.
