Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to support our medical practice remotely. This is a fully remote, full-time, permanent position. You will be the first point of contact for our patients — answering calls, managing appointments, and handling tasks in our electronic health records system. We need someone dependable, proactive, and professional who takes ownership of their work without being asked. This is a stable, long-term role with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule during U.S. Central Time hours. Job Requirements: - Native Spanish speaker with advanced/near-native English (C1+ level). - Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems — eClinicalWorks strongly preferred. - Professional, clear phone communication in both English and Spanish. - Dependable, proactive, and self-directed. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office environment. - Available to work full-time during U.S. Central Time business hours (Mon–Fri). Responsibilities: - Handle all inbound calls with urgency and care. - Ensure no missed calls — every patient interaction matters. - Answer patient questions clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish. - Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient appointments in eClinicalWorks (eCW). - Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately. - Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. - Follow up on pending tasks, lab orders, and referral requests without being asked. - Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information (HIPAA compliance). - Communicate with patients about appointment preparation, required documents, and next steps. - Flag urgent patient concerns to the clinical team immediately.
