Responsibilities
The ideal profile for this opportunity is a Senior backend engineer with 5+ years of certifiable experience. If you have this checked, please review your responsibilities:
✨ Own all backend decisions and initiatives. From the 10,000 feet level (what services should we design? what business entities should I separate? what type of communication should I use?), to the 1-inch level (why is this error happening?).
✨ Build the backend for new features, and help optimize existing ones.
✨ Architect new ideas in the form of ERDs, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
✨ Improve database and infrastructure performance.
✨ Scale our services via architectural changes and infrastructure improvements.
✨ Work closely with our design and product teams, frontend engineers, and founders and to develop features and make sure that we reach 100% fidelity from designs to development.
✨ Identify and define user requirements and flows into actionable technical requirements that are easy for the development team to understand and follow.
✨ Pair-programming and code reviews.
