Job DescriptionSkills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.Typically has 8 years+ of systems development, testing and business experience.Experience working with various programs such as AngularJS, CSS, HTML, Java, .NET, NodeJS, Ruby, SQLProven record of using design docs, in-line comments, code reviews and testing strategies to write and maintain high-quality codeShould possess object-oriented design skills with strong analytical capabilitiesStrong Ability to write SQL statements in code to read from/insert into database.Understanding of database tables and how to add extra fields to tables.Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Biggest Needs:Design, develop and deploy AI agents and process automations that make the SOC less noisy.Strong hands-on development background with the ability to take projects from concept through implementation and production.Candidates who can contribute to architecture discussions while remaining highly technical.Experience integrating AI tools into operational environments, ideally within security operations or enterprise-scale organizations.Immediate productivity with a relatively short ramp-up period.Responsibilities:Partner with CSOC leaders, technical owners, and stakeholders to understand operational challenges.Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions such as: Watchlist automation; Incident response automation; Security operations workflows; AI agents and intelligent automation toolsBuild solutions end-to-end.Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.Integrate AI and automation tools into existing enterprise systems.Improve SOC efficiency by reducing false positives, manual effort and administrative tasks.Develop software solutions utilizing AWS services and APIs.Collaborate across security, engineering, and operations teams.Qualifications:6-8 years of software engineering, automation, or development experience.Strong Python development experience.Strong SQL skills.Experience working within GitHub environments and development workflows.Strong understanding of REST APIs and integrations.AWS ecosystem experience.Ability to build and deploy applications.Experience designing, developing, or implementing automation solutions.Highly Preferred:AI/Generative AI development experience.Hands-on experience designing or building AI agents.Experience with Amazon Bedrock.Experience with Claude and OpenCode.Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, experience.Architecture-minded developer capable of influencing technical direction.
