Seeking a backend-focused software engineer to design, build, maintain, and operate scalable cloud-native systems.Responsibilities include platform maintenance, compliance, cost efficiency, observability, experiment cleanup, and operational tooling using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, MongoDB Atlas, Aurora MySQL, and GraphQL.Requirements3-5 years of professional backend software development experience.Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, and experience with Spring Boot.Experience with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL on AWS.Experience building cloud-native distributed systems and GraphQL APIs using Netflix DGS.Excellent English communication and collaboration skills; enterprise experience preferred.BenefitsRemote contract engagement at 40 hours per week.Anticipated engagement runs through March 31, 2027.
