This Audio/Video Technician position supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the area of Support Services. The mission-critical program provides comprehensive training, safety, standards, curriculum development, and technical modernization services to ensure national border security agents can operate safely and effectively. When instructors lead a high-stakes tactical simulation or a national webinar, they cannot afford technical audio or video delays. As an AV Specialist, you configure the physical hardware, mixers, and routing that deliver flawless, real-time multimedia experiences. Who You Are You are the master behind the scenes who ensures that every live stream, presentation, and webinar runs flawlessly. You enjoy working with physical hardware and are deeply knowledgeable about audio mixers, signal routing, and camera configurations.
