The role will report directly to the Product Owner, North America SAP. Qualified candidates can work remotely in the U.S.Position SummaryThis role is a Sr. Functional Analyst, SAP in our Global Product Development group supporting the US and Canada. The primary responsibility for this role is to lead and deliver SAP system specific legislative and regulatory updates for our customers to ensure their SAP systems are kept compliant with the various legal requirements published by agencies and governments globally. Functional Analysts combine in-depth product expertise with the latest tax and regulatory changes to produce system impact specifications and test strategies for Development & QA. The position will follow each tax and regulatory change from discovery through successful translation into an application update. This role is vital in providing high quality deliverables to our clients and keeping their mission critical enterprise applications in compliance. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the team in translating tax and regulatory requirements for the US and Canada into system changes for clients’ ERP systemsOrganize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with clients, internal operational teams, to resolve issues on complex updates relating to US and Canadian HR/PayrollProvide in-depth functional/technical knowledge and understanding of SAP system across multiple versions - US, Canada and Quebec HR/Payroll Modules to development teamEnsure total product compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations through the analysis of each tax and legislative change and production of Business Analysis & Functional specifications detailing the impact to a specific SAP module.Provide in-depth knowledge of US and Canadian Payroll from a business perspective and as an end-to-end process.Lead the analysis, design and configuration of complex legislative requirements;
