Every role is designed to support the health and performance of both our customers and our organization.As BiOptimizers' Art Director/Creative Director, you will define and elevate how our brand shows up across every touchpoint, from campaigns and brand activations to product storytelling and real-world experiences. You're a hands-on leader who brings both strategic vision and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to execute creative work that grows our brand and drives sales across retail, Amazon, and DTC channels.Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you'll own visual direction and execution across all channels, partnering closely with Brand, Social, Influencer, and Production to bring ideas to life. You'll also lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers who report directly to you. This is a role for someone who can balance creative instinct with strategic clarity, who isn't afraid to get into the details alongside their team, and who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.This is a fully remote position, with team members based in various locations and time zones. You must have the ability to travel for events and shoots, which are primarily in the Southwest U.S.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and mentor the full design team, fostering a collaborative, high-output creative culture while remaining actively involved in day-to-day creative execution.Develop and lead creative concepts for campaigns, product launches, content shoots, and brand activations across DTC, Amazon, and retail channels.Drive retail creative execution including on-shelf displays, in-store merchandising, point-of-sale materials, and retail display programs, ensuring the brand shows up powerfully at the shelf.Oversee and contribute to Amazon creative assets, including A+ content, brand storefronts, and product detail page visuals, optimized for both conversion and brand consistency.Translate complex, science-backed messaging into clear, compelling visual storytelling across all channels and formats.Direct photo and video shoots, ensuring creative vision translates into high-quality, high-performing assets.Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all outputs, from digital to physical.Partner with Brand, Social, and Influencer teams to align on business and campaign goals.Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and production partners to scale creative output.Required Qualifications7 - 10+ years of experience in art direction or visual design within consumer, wellness, performance, or lifestyle brands, with at least 3 years in an Art Director or senior creative leadership role.Proven experience managing and leading a design team, with the ability to both direct at a high level and personally contribute to creative execution when needed.Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-driven campaigns and multi-channel execution, with clear examples spanning digital (DTC, Amazon, social) and retail/physical environments (displays, merchandising, in-store).Deep experience in retail creative, including on-shelf displays, endcap displays, point-of-purchase materials, and retail merchandising systems.Demonstrated experience with DTC and Amazon creative, including Amazon A+ content, storefronts, and performance-oriented digital assets.Highly skilled with industry-standard creative tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.Experience translating technical or science-based concepts into accessible, engaging creative work.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale and align stakeholders across levels.Preferred QualificationsExperience in DTC, supplements, lifestyle, or performance-focused brands.Packaging design experience, including primary and secondary packaging for consumer products.Familiarity with retail trade marketing and shopper marketing creative.Company Hours & CollaborationWith team members across many countries and time zone differences of up to 16 hours, we’ve established a standard collaboration window from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.This is not a required work schedule, but a shared time frame for meetings and team syncs.
