The candidate will participate in defining short-term and long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships emphasizing a “partnering” approach, seek out and identify new business contacts, guide customers during the contracting process, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The ideal candidate will lead and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, establish and maintain key client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.The Territory Business Development Manager (Territory BDM) will lead PIPECARE’s commercial expansion across Europe in the In-line Inspection Services sector—identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of pipeline integrity services and a strong network within the Oil and Gas and energy sectors.Responsibilities and dutiesSales Planning and ExecutionDevelop and execute sales plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring performance against targets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.Client Relationship ManagementIdentify and cultivate relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with products and services.Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively offering solutions.Market AnalysisStay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks.Analyze market data to develop and refine sales strategies, ensuring a competitive edge in the oil and gas sector.Negotiation and Contract ManagementAssist in negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with organizational goals.Learn about contract management processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Team CollaborationCollaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination, particularly with technical and operations teams to align sales efforts with delivery capabilities.Required qualifications and backgroundThe ideal candidate will have:Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or a related field.Experience: Experience in technical or sales roles within the Oil and Gas (Energy) industry for 5+ years; minimum of 5 years of relevant technical and/or sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry.In-depth knowledge of oil and gas pipelines or inspection services, and market dynamics.Analytical and pragmatic thinking skills.Excellent communication skills, and willingness to develop negotiation and presentation capabilities.Ability to travel as needed.Remote (home office) job, living in Europe.Fluency in English.
