About Mindset Care, Inc.Mindset was founded to create a better experience for those with a mental illness and their caregivers in applying for Social Security Disability benefits.Our team of Social Security Disability lawyers and representatives has helped thousands of individuals through the arduous process of obtaining Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) through the Social Security Administration.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Fee Tracking Coordinator to join our Social Security Disability practice. This position plays a critical role in monitoring attorney fee payments, tracking fee authorizations, and ensuring accurate collection of fees issued by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a Social Security Disability law firm, understands SSA fee authorization and payment processes, and is highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack attorney fee payments issued by the Social Security Administration.Monitor pending fee authorizations and follow up on outstanding payments.Review Notices of Award, fee authorizations, and related SSA correspondence.Research discrepancies between expected and received payments.Communicate with SSA offices regarding payment status and fee-related inquiries.Maintain accurate records of payment tracking.Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and accounting teams to resolve payment issues.Generate reports on outstanding fees and payment trends.Ensure compliance with firm policies and SSA regulations.Qualifications2+ years of experience in a Social Security Disability law firm or SSA-related environment.Working knowledge of SSA attorney fee payment processes, fee agreements, and fee authorizations.Experience reviewing Notices of Award and SSA correspondence.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office.Preferred QualificationsExperience with fee petitions and representative fee collections.Paralegal, legal assistant, or SSD case management background.Familiarity with high-volume disability practices.What We OfferCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holidaysRemote work opportunitiesProfessional development and growth opportunitiesIf you enjoy solving complex payment issues, working with detailed records, and helping ensure accurate recovery of attorney fees, we'd love to hear from you.Schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt position, Monday through Friday. Working hours are typically 9:00 am - 6:00 pm ESTBenefits:Remote first policyMedical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick timeLarge responsibility from the startThe ability to ascend within the companyA team of creative, transparent entrepreneurs driven to accomplish our mission
