In addition to providing discounted theme park tickets and hotel bookings, we host the Orlando Informer Meetup, exclusive after-hours events featuring shorter waits, unlimited food, and unique entertainment.We are seeking a contract video editor to produce and edit YouTube videos in a clearly defined, established style. This role is execution focused. You will take the provided footage, scripts, and references and turn them into polished, engaging videos that closely match an existing YouTube content creator in pacing, tone, structure, and visual language.The ideal candidate has strong technical editing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to replicate a style. You should be comfortable working from detailed notes, references, and feedback, and delivering consistent results on deadline.Orlando Informer is a small, nimble, and remote-first company, and this contract role will work closely with our internal team to support ongoing video production needs.ResponsibilitiesEdit long-form and short-form YouTube videos to match a specific, established Orlando Informer creator's styleReplicate pacing, music usage, graphics, sound design, and overall storytelling approach based on provided examplesAssemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceover, music, and graphics into finished videosAdd text overlays, basic motion graphics, b-roll, sound effects, and visual polish where appropriateEnsure videos meet platform best practices for YouTube, including pacing, clarity, and viewer retentionIncorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and accuratelyOrganize project files and exports according to internal standardsMeet agreed-upon deadlines and production schedulesOther video-related dutiesRequirementsThis is a remote, contract positionProven experience editing YouTube videos, with samples that demonstrate consistency and strong storytellingAbility to closely match an existing editing style and follow detailed creative directionStrong proficiency with professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci ResolveComfort working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videosExcellent attention to detail, including timing, audio levels, text accuracy, and visual consistencyStrong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environmentInterest in or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or YouTube content is requiredBenefitsCompensation: $250/per long-form video
