Responsibilities

About the Role: Pinzur Communications, a Miami-based public relations agency, is seeking a Bilingual PR Specialist with strong media relations experience and excellent writing skills in both English and Spanish. This role is focused on pitching and media relations. You will be responsible for getting our clients placed: identifying the right journalists for a story, crafting pitches that earn a response, following up persuasively, and coordinating coverage once interest lands. You will also draft press releases, media advisories and supporting materials. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the outreach side of public relations, who tries ways B, C and D when they are not getting a response to their initial outreach. If you like the challenge of finding the right angle for the right reporter, and you know the difference between a pitch that gets opened and one that gets ignored, this role will suit you. Key Responsibilities: Pitch journalists, editors and producers to secure media placements for clients Draft compelling media pitches tailored to specific reporters, outlets and beats Write press releases, media advisories, talking points and related materials Follow up on outreach and manage ongoing journalist relationships Coordinate interviews, appearances and media opportunities between clients and journalists Identify timely story angles and news hooks for client campaigns Track resulting coverage and contribute to client reporting Edit and proofread materials for accuracy, grammar, clarity and consistency Support broader public relations campaigns and client initiatives as needed Required Qualifications: Professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken At least two years of public relations or communications experience actively pitching media Demonstrated placements secured through your own outreach Strong persuasive writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different outlets and audiences Excellent grammar, editing and proofreading skills in both languages Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have): Agency experience working across multiple clients Experience with Asana, Monday.com or similar project management software Strong research, communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours. Remote position with availability that overlaps during U.S. Eastern Time. Compensation: To be determined based on experience and demonstrated expertise.
