Unhire is seeking a passionate and research-oriented Grant Writer to support grant research, proposal development, and fundraising strategy initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in nonprofit development, startup fundraising, social impact, and strategic communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and identify relevant grant opportunities for startups, innovation programs, and nonprofit initiatives.
Draft persuasive, well-structured grant proposals and supporting application materials.
Collaborate with leadership teams to gather operational data, project insights, and platform information.
Maintain organized records of grant deadlines, submission statuses, and funding contacts.
Customize proposal narratives based on the requirements of different grant organizations.
Assist with follow-up communications, reporting documents, and impact summaries.
REQUIREMENTS
Available to begin immediately.
Able to commit to a long-term remote collaboration.
Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
Interest in startups, social impact, nonprofit development, or fundraising.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Familiarity with Google Docs, Notion, or collaborative productivity tools is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in grant writing, proposal development, or content writing.
Familiarity with nonprofit or startup ecosystems.
Strong analytical and research abilities.
