Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an experienced High Voltage Project Engineer to join. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of high-voltage civil works, utility/grid interface experience, and the ability to manage contractors, ensure compliance, and represent the client’s interests throughout design and construction.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end HV substation design activities from concept studies, Grid Connection Agreements and FEED (Front End Engineering Design) through to detailed design.Coordinate interfaces between incoming HV infrastructure and internal facility power systems, including generators, UPS, MSBs, and switchgear.Support and oversee commissioning activities, SAP (Senior Authorised Person) switching protocols, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).Coordinate HV civil engineering packages associated with grid connection projects.Act as the client's on-site representative with TSOs, DSOs, EPCs, and contractors.Review designs, method statements, construction drawings, and technical documentation.Ensure adherence to applicable regulations, safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.Monitor project risks, change management activities, and progress reporting.QualificationsDegree in Engineering (BSc / MSc or equivalent experience)Strong background nsmission/distribution projects, or grid-related civil worksConstruction sector experience, ideally within a Data Centre environment• Exposure to large scale complex projects, collaborating effectively and directly with client• Excellent stakeholder managementAbility to manage multiple interfaces and stakeholders simultaneouslyExperience in data centre projects is a strong advantageFluent in Spanish and very good English language skillsWillingness to be present on-site as requiredAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
