Responsibilities

Role Overview: - Quality Assurance Coordinator – BRCGS. - Full-Time, Remote, U.S. Central Time Hours. - B&B Warehousing, Inc. is a U.S.-based food-grade 3PL specializing in the storage and distribution of food ingredients. - We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to take day-to-day ownership of our BRCGS Storage & Distribution quality and food safety program. - This is a remote position, but it is an active QA role—not simply document administration. - The QA Coordinator will manage the program, coordinate required activities with our onsite team, handle customer quality matters, and ensure the facility remains audit-ready. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the BRCGS quality and food safety program. - Maintain SOPs, policies, forms, records, risk assessments, and document control. - Manage the internal audit schedule and ensure audits are completed. - Track non-conformities, root-cause investigations, CAPA, and corrective actions through closure. - Coordinate required warehouse inspections with onsite personnel and verify completion. - Maintain the training matrix and ensure required training and signed records are completed. - Maintain QA records and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation. - Manage customer quality complaints, investigations, and quality issue records. - Respond professionally to customer QA and compliance inquiries. - Complete customer questionnaires and provide requested compliance documentation. - Monitor deadlines and follow up with responsible personnel until requirements are completed. - Participate remotely in our BRCGS unannounced audit. - Provide management with regular updates on open issues and audit readiness. Required Qualifications: - Direct BRCGS experience is required. - Experience managing or maintaining a food safety/QMS program. - Internal auditing and audit-preparation experience. - Experience with root-cause analysis, CAPA, and corrective actions. - Experience handling customer quality issues or complaints. - Strong documentation and records-management skills. - Strong written and spoken English. - Highly organized with excellent follow-through. - Able to work independently and take ownership of the QA function. - Able to work full-time during U.S. Central Time business hours. Preferred Qualifications: - BRCGS Storage & Distribution experience. - Food warehousing, logistics, food manufacturing, or food ingredient experience. - BRCGS Internal Auditor training. - HACCP training/certification. - Experience with traceability, mock recalls, training programs, and risk assessments. Expectations: - We need someone who owns the process and closes the loop. - If an inspection, training record, internal audit, or corrective action is due, you are responsible for making sure it gets completed, reviewed, documented, and closed—not simply sending a reminder. - The right candidate will become the day-to-day owner of our QA/BRCGS program and proactively bring significant issues to management's attention. - English: Professional working proficiency or higher. - Schedule: Full-time, working U.S. Central Time hours. Availability during our unannounced BRCGS audit is required.
