We integrate clinical expertise, behavior change, and ongoing support to help patients make meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.As we expand our model, we are introducing medical weight management, combining GLP-1 medication support with ongoing nutrition counseling to deliver a more comprehensive, outcomes-driven care experience.Position OverviewWe are seeking a licensed Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a virtual GLP-1 medication management program. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable practicing in a telehealth setting, values continuity of care, and is interested in working within a collaborative model alongside Registered Dietitians.This is a 1099 contract role with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to help shape a new, integrated care model.What You'll DoConduct virtual initial medication consultationsPrescribe GLP-1 medications (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide) as clinically appropriateSubmit e-prescriptions to pharmaciesProvide ongoing monthly follow-ups for monitoring, dose adjustments, and patient supportEnsure safe, evidence-based prescribing practices and documentationCollaborate within a care model that includes ongoing nutrition and behavior change supportRequirements & QualificationsActive MD/DO or NP license in good standingMulti-state licensure strongly preferredExperience prescribing GLP-1 medications or managing patients in weight care, metabolic health, or related areasExperience in outpatient or telehealth settingsComfort providing longitudinal care and managing patients over timeActive malpractice/liability insuranceWhy JoinBe part of an integrated care model combining medical and nutrition supportFully remote, flexible workFocus on patient care—we handle operations, billing, and supportOpportunity to contribute to and shape an early-stage programAbout Top Nutrition CoachingReceptive is a modern digital health platform making high-quality care more accessible.
