About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Accountant for our client located in BGC.SalaryUp to 65KSet-up100% RemoteResponsibilitiesEnter all transactions into XeroReconcile transactions with bank statements; perform account reconciliation and data entryHandle expenses and bank reconciliationsRecord business expenses incurred on personal credit cards into XeroManage reimbursement processes for business expensesGenerate end-of-year financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance SheetManage accounts receivable and payableHandle payroll and superannuation tasksPrepare BAS/IAS reports and financial reportingPerform management reporting in ExcelQualificationsFully Xero certified with relevant bookkeeping and accounting qualifications (3 - 5 years of work experience with CPA & CA qualifications)Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, automation of reporting using formulas, data manipulation)Must have experience managing Australia-based clients/booksDemonstrated previous experience in a similar role (especially in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Expense Reconciliation, Payroll)Self-motivated, committed, and reliable with excellent attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationshipsBroad knowledge of financial procedures and policiesAbility to maintain confidentialityManagerial skillsQuick learner with problem-solving capabilities
