Requirements and responsibilities

US IT Recruiter – Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Understanding Client Requirements: - Work with US clients or account managers to understand job openings. - Analyze required skills (Java, .NET, DevOps, QA, etc.), experience, and project details. - Learn about US work terms like W2, C2C, 1099 (you will pick this up on the job). 2. Sourcing Candidates: - Use platforms like LinkedIn, Dice (very important for US hiring), and Indeed US. - Search using keywords and Boolean search techniques. 3. Screening Candidates: - Review resumes and shortlist matching profiles. - Conduct initial screening calls. - Check technical skills (basic level). - Check experience and project details. - Check visa status (very important in US hiring: H1B, OPT, GC, Citizen). 4. Candidate Interaction: - Explain job role, client, and rate/salary. - Negotiate pay rates (hourly or yearly). - Build good relationships with candidates. 5.
