Magazine.About the RoleThe Product Information Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing Order.co’s product catalog to improve customer purchasing efficiency, drive cost savings, and support revenue growth. This role involves detailed data management, vendor research, pricing optimization, and real-time order analysis to ensure catalog accuracy and effective product substitution.Key ResponsibilitiesCatalog Maintenance & Data ManagementAdd, update, and maintain vendor pricing and product availability for high-volume and high-impact SKUsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of catalog data across internal systemsIdentify and correct discrepancies in product information, pricing, and availabilityProduct Optimization & SubstitutionMap product substitutes and recommend viable alternatives based on pricing, availability, and customer needsAnalyze product relationships to support intelligent substitution logicExecute catalog enhancements to reduce friction in the purchasing process and improve fulfillment ratesVendor Research & Data SourcingSource product and pricing information from vendor websites and portals with speed and accuracyMaintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor offerings and pricing structuresFacilitate communication with vendors to obtain quotes and confirm product detailsCross-Functional Collaboration & Quality AssurancePartner with the Data team to quality-assure (QA) product enrichment and catalog updatesSupport internal initiatives to improve catalog structure, usability, and data integrityContribute to the continuous improvement of catalog processes and toolsQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree requiredStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies in large datasetsStrong written communication skills and ability to follow through on tasks independentlyProficiency with Excel or Google SheetsAbility to learn and navigate new tools and systems quicklyWhat You'll ReceiveA competitive compensation package including stock optionsEmployer-sponsored 401(k) with employer matchRobust medical, dental, vision, and wellness benefitsFlexible time off and remote work policiesGenerous leave policies and support for new and current parentsThe anticipated hourly rate for this role is $31.25.
