Requirements and responsibilities


Custom Application Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of custom applications using the ServiceNow App Engine and Studio. Module Optimization: Configure and enhance core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog) to align with enterprise best practices. Scripting and Automation: Write high-quality, reusable code using JavaScript (Glide API) for Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Script Includes. Integrations: Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and Mid Servers. Workflow Design: Build sophisticated automated workflows using Flow Designer and legacy Workflow Editor where necessary. User Experience: Develop modern, intuitive portals using Service Portal (AngularJS, CSS, HTML). Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during discovery sessions, providing technical feasibility assessments and effort estimations. Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a proven track record of building custom scoped applications. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Mastery: - Expert-level JavaScript skills. - Deep understanding of the ServiceNow database schema and table relationships. - Experience with ITIL processes (specifically ITSM). Certifications (this is a plus): - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) — Highly Preferred. - Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM.
