Job ResponsibilitiesPayroll & Labor Compliance (Core Focus)Process payroll accurately and on time, including multi-state payrollEnsure payroll aligns with Unanet timekeeping, labor categories, and contract charge codesManage payroll deductions, benefits coordination, garnishments, and reimbursementsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsSupport employee onboarding and offboarding from a payroll and labor-charging perspectiveCoordinate payroll tax filings and work with payroll providers and external advisorsRespond to payroll inquiries with discretion, accuracy, and professionalismUnanet Administration (Core Function)Serve as the primary Unanet system administrator across Projects, People, Time, Expenses, and FinancialsConfigure and maintain projects, CLINs, task structures, charge codes, labor categories, and cost elementsEnsure accurate and compliant timekeeping aligned with DCAA and contract requirementsMaintain indirect rate structures (Fringe, Overhead, G&A) and cost poolsMonitor labor charging for accuracy, timeliness, and complianceGenerate standard and ad-hoc Unanet reports for payroll, billing, leadership, and auditsTroubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Unanet support as neededSupport Unanet data integrity for audits, invoicing, and financial reportingGovCon Accounting & Compliance SupportPerform bookkeeping tasks, including transaction posting, account reconciliations, and expense reviewRecord payroll-related entries and assist with month-end closeSupport labor cost allocations, indirect rates, and labor-related billingEnsure proper separation of direct and indirect labor costsPrepare payroll and labor documentation for audits, CPAs, and government reviewsMaintain audit-ready records and internal controlsIdentify opportunities to improve payroll, Unanet, and labor compliance processesRequired Qualifications3–7+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance (GovCon strongly preferred)Hands-on Unanet administration experience (required)Strong understanding of GovCon labor charging and payroll complianceExperience processing multi-state payrollAdvanced Excel skills and comfort with financial and labor reportingExceptional attention to detail and organizational disciplineAbility to operate independently in a small-business GovCon environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting DCAA audits or incurred cost submissionsFamiliarity with FAR, CAS, and indirect rate structuresExperience working with external CPAs and payroll providersAccounting degree or relevant certification (CPA not required)What Success Looks LikePayroll is accurate, timely, and audit-ready every cycleUnanet labor data is clean, reliable, and leadership-readyZero labor-charging or payroll compliance findingsSmooth coordination between payroll, Unanet, billing, and leadershipContinuous improvement of payroll and Unanet processesWhat We Offer:Pivot Path Solutions strives to attract, motivate, and retain the best people in the industry.
