Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a driven, organized, and experienced Account Executive to help us grow our air and ocean volumes with-in your region. You’ll have a greenfield opportunity to help grow our portfolio of customers. You will leverage your knowledge and experience as you partner with several operations teams across the US.Important step Please ensure you send a cover letter with your application. Applications with out a cover letter will not be considered.Please ensure that you have relevant experience and have worked in sales at a global freight forwarding company.You will:Proactively consult with clients and develop solutions for their logistics needsCommunicate the value of Ardent through remote and in person meetings with client executivesDevelop and execute a plan to build pipeline from new and existing customers in your territoryEngage with stakeholders from other departments at Ardent Global to develop client-specific solutionsCoordinate and negotiate annual RFPsCollaborate with Ardent Global ’s client operations teams to identify upsell opportunities, source pipeline, and develop strategic account plansYou should have:7-10 years of experience in a customer facing sales/business development role at a leading international freight forwarderAt least 5 years designing solutions for Global Key AccountsCompetitive and creative drive to win over customers and think outside the box to get a deal doneDemonstrated ability to run a sales meeting and structured sales processProven success building and maintaining long term commercial relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, experience presenting to C-level executivesA passion for pursuing new and bold ideas within the context of business prioritiesThe ability to quickly identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlinesExperience problem-solving within multi-faceted and complex systemsExperience negotiating with third-party providers of products and servicesAn obsession with client happiness.
