About Estoy
Estoy is an innovative cryptocurrency and fintech startup focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital asset products and services for the retail market. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across Latin America (LATAM). We are looking for talented professionals who are eager to work in a fast-growing fintech environment and collaborate with an international team.
About the Role
This role will be responsible for designing and maintaining our internal network and security infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and promoting strong security practices across the organization.
Define and implement best practices for hardware, software, and mobile security for its employees' personal and company devices. Responsibilities include managing these devices, providing technical support to users, overseeing Microsoft 365 administration environments, and continuously improving the security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain our internal network security infrastructure including endpoint security and patch management
-Determine and integrate best practices in hardware, software, mobile security management for company/employee devices including user support
-Manage and support operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS)
-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
-Microsoft 365 administration management
-Monitor system performance and analyze logs and alerts
-Support cloud security infrastructure
-Assist with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes – (Intermediate to expert level) (Preferred)
-Support Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes in AWS
-Respond to and assist in security incidents and investigations
-Ensure adherence to security best practices, especially in crypto environments
Technical Requirements
-Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls)
-Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
-Intermediate-to-expert level scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
-Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes (intermediate-to-expert level)
-Microsoft 365 & Entra Identity and Access Management Administration
Fintech & Security Knowledge
-Knowledge of private key security and best practices
-Experience with common/uncommon threats (phishing, SIM swapping, social engineering, AI hacks to MFA & etc.)
-Understanding of MFA, encryption, and access control
-Knowledge of incident response processes
Qualifications
-B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, (or related field) with 5+ years experience in a IT Support/Systems Administration/Security Role - OR
10+ years experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or a Security role
-Experience in cloud-based and distributed environments
-Experience in crypto, fintech, or high-security environments
-Ability to perform root cause analysis
-Extensive experience in working remotely
-Advanced English Level (C1)
