AV Technicians & Helpdesk Support Specialists are responsible for managing AV equipment onsite at our conferences and providing remote technical assistance and onboarding support to staff. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and customer service who can thrive in both fast-paced live event settings and virtual support environments. The position requires travel approximately once per month and offers a dynamic opportunity to work across multiple departments and technologies.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Onsite AV Tech:Handle audio-visual equipment setup, testing, and assistance during live eventsInteract with clients and deliver outstanding customer service on-siteEnsure high-quality AV setup and seamless technical support during eventsAdhere to business-appropriate dress and professional presentation standardsRemote Helpdesk Support & Onboarding:Provide remote technical assistance and helpdesk support to end usersAssist with software installations, updates, and basic troubleshootingOffer onboarding support and technical orientation to new usersExperience with Salesforce, specifically Experience Cloud (site configuration, user management, and troubleshooting)Communicate clearly and professionally with staff to address technical issuesStay current with helpdesk best practices, systems, and internal technology toolsQualifications:Valid U.S. entry visa requiredProven experience as an AV Technician and/or Helpdesk Support SpecialistHigh school diploma or GED required; College degree in a relevant field is preferredAdvanced English skills in verbal and written communication are requiredStrong interpersonal and client-facing communication skillsDemonstrated customer service mindset and professional demeanorSolid organizational and time management skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness and ability to travel approximately once per monthBenefits & Work Environment:At Opal Group, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive and supportive work culture.
