Requirements and responsibilities

Position overview We are looking for an experienced Senior BI Analyst to lead business intelligence initiatives, drive data strategy, and mentor junior team members. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strong business acumen to deliver actionable insights that drive organizational growth. Key responsibilities * Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex BI solutions and dashboards. * Architect and optimize data pipelines using modern tools like DBT. * Develop and maintain sophisticated SQL queries and stored procedures for complex business requirements. * Drive automation initiatives to streamline reporting and analytical processes. * Implement and support advanced analytics tools (Retool, BIHelper, etc.) * Conduct advanced data analysis using Python/R for predictive modeling and statistical analysis. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics. * Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple data sources and systems. * Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance. * Establish best practices for data governance and quality assurance. * Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership. Required qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred. * 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field. * Advanced proficiency in SQL with experience in query optimization and performance tuning. * Expert-level experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) * Strong programming skills in Python with experience in data science libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) * Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) * Experience with modern data stack tools (DBT, Airflow, etc.) * Proven track record of delivering complex analytical projects. * Strong project management and leadership skills. * Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
