Chainalysis is looking for experienced Software Engineers to join their data platform and clustering teams. The role involves architecting, creating, and maintaining data pipelines, understanding protocol schemas and nuances, and building scalable AWS ingest pipelines, lambdas, and services. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain data and will have the opportunity to work on features that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more. Responsibilities: - Build cloud-native data ingest and aggregation processes that intake gigabytes of data per day - Add features to our product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more - Build a scalable API service on AWS that handles up to 1000 requests per second - Help the team to modernize our stack to a streaming architecture - Debug production issues across multiple systems and microservices - Lead or play an instrumental role in designing and implementing cloud-native microservices-based distributed systems in a major cloud provider like AWS or GCP - Mentor other engineers, lead cross-team projects, and drive design and technology decisions - Work directly on backend systems/ projects
