As we scale our presence in Pakistan, we’re hiring a ●●Country Manager●● to lead local operations, drive adoption, and grow Elevate Pay into a trusted brand among freelancers, remote workers, and the broader ecosystem. You’ll be our voice and presence on the ground – managing key partnerships, representing Elevate Pay in the community, and steering our growth in one of our most important markets.
This is not a managerial-only position. We’re looking for someone who can get their hands dirty, move fast, and execute relentlessly in a hyper-growth environment.
🚀 What You'll Do:
* Represent Elevate Pay in Pakistan as the face of the brand – across partnerships, communities, media, and events.
* Own and execute country-level strategy to drive user growth, trust, and brand visibility.
* Build and manage strategic relationships with payment partners, banks, local institutions, and regulators.
* Own top-of-funnel growth metrics – from signups to activation.
* Lead local user acquisition – running both online campaigns and on-the-ground activations.
* Oversee partnerships with communities, influencers, co-working spaces, and educational institutions.
* Collaborate with the global team to localize product, onboarding, and support experiences.
* Represent user voice to product and ops teams – ensuring we’re solving real pain points for freelancers and remote workers.
* Contribute to PR, thought leadership, and ecosystem engagement – both online and offline.
* Move fast, iterate often, and help define our playbook for hyper-growth in emerging markets.
✅ Must-Have Qualities:
* Proven experience leading growth, business development, or ops in fast-paced environments. You’ve taken something from zero to one, and then scaled it.
* Deep understanding of Pakistan’s freelance and remote work landscape. You know the platforms, communities, and pain points inside out.
* You have trust and access within the local ecosystem (freelancers, startups, influencers, partners). People take your calls and trust your word.
* You’re an executor. You don’t just strategize, you get things done — fast, scrappy, and without waiting for perfect conditions.
* Comfortable with chaos. You can move forward without needing all the answers upfront.
* A clear and confident communicator. You can pitch Elevate Pay to partners, speak to users at events, and represent the brand with presence.
* High agency. You take ownership, chase down opportunities, and make things happen.
* Organized and reliable. You can manage multiple workstreams and still hit your goals.

* Experience in fintech, payments, creator platforms, or freelancer-focused businesses.
* Familiarity with local compliance, banking, or remittance infrastructure.
* Credibility in Pakistan’s startup or freelancer ecosystem.
* Experience managing vendors or local teams across growth, support, or community.
* Fluent in English and Urdu.
