â—˝ At least four years of professional experience in software development.
â—˝ Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
â—˝ Bachelors in computer science (preferred) or equivalent related experience.
â—˝ Familiarity with modern front-end development.
â—˝ Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Java, Python, Node.js or PHP.
â—˝ Intermediate understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
🟣 Preferred knowledge and skills:
â—˝ Knowledgeable in writing automated application tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
â—˝ Familiar with the basic principles and design of RESTful APIs.
â—˝ Basic knowledge of a microservice architecture.
â—˝ Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes.

â—˝ Build and maintain new innovative product features focused on actively learning new areas of the product.

â—˝ Participate actively in design/architecture discussions, sharing your ideas while building the next-generation features for the Sezzle platform.
â—˝ Hands-on with our codebase and a contributor to code reviews.
â—˝ Mentor other engineers who are starting along their career path.
â—˝ Work with the team to continuously build and deploy scalable solutions.
â—˝ Assist in planning, estimations, and completion of projects brought up by the team stakeholders.
