Job DescriptionThe UX Developer/Designer will focus on creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for web applications. This role emphasizes rapid front-end development, API integration, and leveraging low-code platforms to deliver efficient, user-centric solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AJAX-style front-end interfaces, ensuring responsiveness and compatibility across devices. Utilise rapid front-end development tools, particularly Retool, to create dynamic and functional user interfaces. Collaborate with backend developers to seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs into front-end applications. Develop workflows and solutions using low-code automation tools like LogicApps and N8N to bridge front-end and backend functionalities. Manage and contribute to the Git codebase (Azure DevOps preferred) for version control and collaborative development. Ensure designs align with user needs and business goals, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users. Stay updated with the latest trends in UX design and front-end development to propose innovative ideas. Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components to streamline future development.To be successful in this role, you will have:Preferred Skills and Experience Proficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, or Angular). Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with attention to accessibility and usability standards. Experience with API mocking tools or frameworks for efficient front-end development. Familiarity with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Knowledge of modern UX/UI best practices and testing methodologies. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and stakeholders, in an Agile environment.
