Position SummaryWe seek an experienced NOC leader to build and manage a modern Platform Health Watch function. This role will oversee real-time monitoring activities, operational command center practices, event management, and operational readiness. The objective is to create a proactive monitoring organization that identifies issues before customers experience impact.ResponsibilitiesLead 24x7 NOC and platform health monitoring operations.Establish operational monitoring standards and procedures.Create event management and escalation workflows.Improve monitoring effectiveness and reduce false positives.Partner with Observability Architecture teams to improve signal quality.Manage staffing models, coverage schedules, and shift operations.Develop operational dashboards and executive reporting.Drive proactive identification of platform risks.Maintain operational readiness for critical business events.Coordinate handoffs and communication during major incidents.Required Experience8+ years in NOC, command center, or operations leadership roles.Experience running 24x7 operational environments.Expertise in monitoring platforms, event management, and operational workflows.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform operations.Experience managing geographically distributed teams.PreferredExperience building a NOC from scratch.Payments, fintech, or high-volume transaction environment experience.Familiarity with ITIL Event Management and AIOps platforms.
