Responsibilities
Jalasoft is looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to help build and improve reliable, scalable cloud delivery solutions. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to automate deployments, optimize CI/CD processes, and support applications running on Azure and Kubernetes.We’re looking for a hands-on engineer passionate about automation, DevOps, and modern GitOps practices who thrives in a collaborative environment.Years of experience:5+ years in DevOps, build and release, or automation engineering.3+ years building and maintaining Azure DevOps YAML pipelines as a primary responsibility.2+ years deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes in production.Must Haves:Azure DevOps Pipelines at depth: YAML templates and template parameters, multi-stage pipelines, environments and approvals, variable groups, service connections, and both hosted and self-hosted agents.Git branching and release workflow, pull request policies, and artifact and repository management in Azure DevOps.Kubernetes application deployment: Helm charts, values management, and troubleshooting at the kubectl level.GitOps delivery with ArgoCD or Flux.Containers and container registries.Scripting in PowerShell and in Python or Bash, including working against the Azure CLI and Azure REST APIs.Ability to read and modify Terraform and Bicep, even where you are not the primary author.Automated verification inside a delivery pipeline: smoke tests, health checks and deployment validation.Professional working EnglishNice to have:Building self-service developer platforms or internal deployment portals.Pipeline observability and delivery metrics such as success rate, lead time and change failure rate.Secret injection through the Secrets Store CSI driver and Azure Key Vault.Ansible.Prior work automating a large migration or fleet-wide upgrade program.Azure DevOps administration: agent pools, permissions and service connection governance.Certification: AZ-400.BenefitsRemote work.13 floating holiday.15 vacation days per year completed.Good working environment.Every qualified candidate who meets the requirements outlined in the job description will be considered in this hiring process without distinction.Furthermore, Jalasoft is an equal opportunity employer.
