Requirements and responsibilities


• Spin usable, elegant design solutions from difficult, challenging situations • Give and receive feedback in regular reviews and critiques with designers, cross-functional partners • Devise UX flows, prototypes, UI mockups, sketches, visuals, decks, and explanations that garner understanding and alignment in those they’re presented to • Iterate designs based on feedback from a diverse spectrum of team members, users, and subject matter experts • Work with cross-functional partners on the team, and across the org in an inclusive way to assess, identify, and prioritize threats of harm, confusion, or surprise around our various controls, settings, and experiences • Help align the team around product problems, solutions, process improvements, and system designs • Work with the Trust and Safety team as well as company leadership to devise strategies, roadmaps, and indicators of success for developed products • Build skill and effectiveness in the trust, safety, and integrity space by understanding the industry and technologies involved • Work with people who are really good at what they do, love design, who also hike, quilt, run, cycle, sew, draw, swim, write meme-iors, cherish time with their kids, travel, and add copious amounts of document screenshots or “doc shots” to their decks in the team share-outs.
